Supplemental Training
Offered quarterly, semi-annually, and annually, supplemental training provides a forum for experienced leaders to obtain the latest information concerning the Cub Scout Program and to share ideas.
Supplemental Training includes a variety of courses conducted on a district basis. These courses give additional information on specific area of the Cub Scout program.
Some supplemental training experiences, such as the monthly roundtables, are held on a regular basis and provide a continuing source of program information. Other supplemental courses are held frequently to meet the needs of specific leaders. Scouting's Super Saturday is a major supplemental training experience for all Cub Scout Leaders, Boy Scout Leaders, and Venturing Leaders. It usually is held at least once a year.
Some of the supplemental training courses are requirements in the Cub Scout Leader Recognition Plan.
