The excitement is mounting as we move into the Cub Scout Racing Season! Three great races are on the horizon -- The Tall Grass Speedway, the Twin Lakes Raceway, and the Voyageur Trace Circuit. Who will win these grueling challenges? Will records be broken? How many spectators will join the fantastic racing teams competing in these fast paced contests?

How to Earn Laps and Win the Race

Each pack in each district is eligible to race. Pick up a copy of the Pit Stop Log and as you finish an milestone on the checklist, turn it in to your Pit Crew Chief (Unit Commissioner or District Executive.) The race begins in August and ends in December. Standings will be updated and posted on the web as the laps are recorded.

Laps are awarded as follows:

RULE: Your pack can only earn laps once for each milestone. For Example, you cannot earn 2 laps for sending out another round of flyers or for participating in 2 community events. The maximum number of laps that can be earned is 25.

TIE BREAKER: Should there be a tie for the winning pack, the pack that turned in its completed charter renewal paperwork first will be the winner of the race.
