Voyageur Trace Spring Camporee, April 16-18, 2010

All Registered Boy Scouts are invited to Race Into the New Century of Scouting at the Scout Adventure Camp in Rochelle, IL.

Your team will travel from Country to country. During these travels you will completing scout based skills (learning them as well). You will be competing with other teams and troops. In the afternoon we will be holding a Map and Compass competitive orienteering course at the Ranch. We will also be having several afternoon hikes to help complete the Second and First Class Hiking requirements.

Voyageur Trace Recognition Dinner, 1/20/2010

All Scouters, spouses, sponsors and friends are invited to the Voyageur Trace Annual Recognition Banquet on Wednesday, January 20, 2010. Once again, it will be held at the wonderful facilities of Park Place of Countryside.

Voyageur Trace Boy Scout Fall Camporee, 10/23/09 - 10/25/09

Come join us for the Voyageur Trace Boy Scout Fall Camp-O-Ree! The theme of the Camp-O-Ree will be conservation.

Saturday morning will be education sessions presented by Park staff and staff from the Shedd Aquarium. Lunch will be provided on Saturday. After lunch the Troops will be assigned to conservation projects with in the Park.

Calling All Webelos, 10/17/09

Voyageur Trace District and Vulcan Materials Company has teamed up to give you access to one of Illinois’ largest quarries. Earn your Geologist pin which can be used towards your Arrow of Light at the Mc Cook Quarry on Saturday, October 17, 2009.Only 75 Webelos are able to attend each of the two scheduled session -- Morning Session – 8am to 11am or Afternoon Session – 12pm to 3pm.

Pack 73 was Grand Marshal at Westchester's July 4th Parade

Westchester's Chamber of Commerce named Pack 73 Grand Marshal of this year's Westchester 4th of July Parade.  They shared that honor with a couple of soldiers who had just returned for Iraq.  Besides walking with the boys, they took turns helping our Scouts when it came time to change who carried the flags.  It was a great experience for the Scouts.

Voyageur Trace First Aid Meet, 3/6/10

Patrols compete in demonstrating their knowledge and skill with first aid as they are presented with challenging emergency scenarios. It will be at Brodnicki School, 8641 W. 75th. Street, Justice, IL 60458 form 9:00 am to noon.

Voyageur Trace Program Kick-off, 8/12/09

Wednesday, August 12th 6pm @ North Riverside Recreation Center - 2401 S. Des Plaines Avenue.

Every unit in the district must attend this most important and exciting event of the year. Come and meet your District Committee and Commissioner staffs and get your vital information to plan your unit's entire program for the year. Unit leaders will also receive many invaluable resources that will insure a quality and fun program for their youth.

Voyageur Trace Day Camp, 8/6/09 & 8/7/09

Thursday and Friday August 6th and 7th @ Bedford Park District
Get ready, Get set, Go! The theme this year is Pirates and will be a fun-filled morning and afternoon of games, crafts, archery, and water games in the splash-pad!
