Voyageur Trace Klondike Derby, 2/12/11

This year’s Klondike Derby will feature Scout skills as well as games and contests. Each patrol should be ready for FUN AND CHALLENGES. Adult Leaders are asked to Help where needed.

Join us at Bemis Woods, South, and bring a can of non-cream soup. Registration starts at 8:00 AM; and, the patrol competition begins at 8:45 AM.

Voyageur Trace District BSA Centennial Camporee, 10/22/10 - 10/24/10

Voyageur Trace District invites all DPVC troops to participate in a special fall camporee commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America. Please join us in taking a look back at the beginnings of American scouting at a camporee with activities and program drawn from the 1911 Handbook for Boys.

Voyageur Trace Webelos Vulcan Event, 10/9/10

Voyageur Trace District and Vulcan Materials Company has teamed up to give Voyageur Trace Webelos access to one of Illinois’ largest quarries, the McCook Quarry.

There will be two sessions on October 9th, at 8:00 am - 11:00 am and at 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. There is a limit to the number of Webelos and adults who can attend each session, so sign up now.

Voyageur Trace District Day Camp, 8/5/10 and 8/6/10

All Cub Scouts are invited to join us for 2 days for a World Cub Soccer experience! We will do archery, bottle rockets, games, splash pad, crafts songs and skits, and SOCCER and much, much more! The event will be at the Bedford Park District from 9:00 am till 3:00 pm on August 5th and 6th.

Starting on May 3, 2010, the Voyageur Trace District Committee will meet at Plymouth Place in La Grange (corner of Ogden and La Grange) Multipurpose Room – same time 1st Monday of the month at 7:30pm
