The Venturing Leaders' Council (VLC) is an association of Venturers and Adult Leaders from the crews and ships throughout the Des Plaines Valley Council. It meets monthly for fun and fellowship and to share information.
Goals
- To organize, promote and give leadership to Des Plaines Valley Council-sponsored Venturing activities.
- To provide a forum for fun and fellowship among the crews and ships of the Des Plaines Valley Council.
- To encourage and aid in interaction among crews/ships and to encourage crew/ship activities and communications.
- To organize and help in the development and implementation of training for crew/ship officers and advisors.
- To publish regular communications to inform crews/ships about activities, meetings, and projects.
